Basil Stem and Ginger Simple Syrup
Ingredients
  • 2 cups water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup agave nectar (or honey)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 4 to 6 basil stems
  • 3 tablespoons sliced ginger
Preparation

Step 1

Bring to a boil then remove from the heat and allow to cool before straining. Will keep covered in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 weeks.
